In May 2022, Uluwehi Coffee Farm entered the HCA (Hawaii Coffee Association) cupping competition for the first time. We submitted 3 batches including our washed SL34.
Our SL34 with a fruit dried process and yeast inoculation took 2nd place for the district of Kona and 5th place for the state of Hawaii with a score of 86.70.
Our washed SL34 – Antidote 34 – with a parchment dried process and a yeast inoculation scored 85.20.
Our Red Bourbon scored 83.95 with a fruit dried process and yeast inoculation.
